Born in Sofia, Bulgaria on 27/01/1968. Bulgarian, Belgian.
Mother - technical advisor, father - musician, drummer.

“This boy draws very well, he will be an artist!”
“I hope not!” said my mum,
“His father, who is a musician, left me with a baby in my arms. So no more artists in my home!”

1979-1983

Assistant to the art teacher in primary school.
Creating party and propaganda slogans. Started dreaming of creating advertisements like in Western Europe
(during the communist regime, advertisement did not exist at all!).

1983-1987

Technical secondary school
Graduate in Geodesy and cartography “Building site manager”

Guitarist in a rock band,
concerts in cinemas and school parties, creator of the band logo and their posters.

1987-1989

Mandatory military service. Surveyor in a mobile missile launching station.
Trajectory calculation officer. Landscape cartographer. Master Corporal.
Creator and decorator of propaganda posters, sign plates and celebration halls.
Themes: Communism, the Bulgarian Army, the Warsaw Pact, the Red Army.

September 1989 - End of military service, October 1989 - End of the communist era

1989-1992

University of architecture and civil engineering.
Technical designer in a DIY magazine. Night guard at a psychiatric hospital.

1992-1996

Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels Visual communication workshops, graphic design and advertising.
Graduated with honours, winner of the Young&Rubicam price.

First work in photography and screen printing using large texts.

1996-2022

Creative art director in advertising and event marketing agencies, like:
Young&Rubicam, Gelder, GBH, Publicis...
